One of the reasons we decided to move back from Boston to Charleston was to be closer to my father, who lives in Beaufort--a lovely Lowcountry town about an hour and a half south of Charleston. Wednesday was my father's 80th birthday, and I was so excited to be able to spend it with him.
After our birthday visit and before heading back home to Charleston, I took a detour to The Boxwood Cottage "pop-up" shop in the Habersham neighborhood--a charming planned community just outside of Beaufort that you simply must check out:
I became curious about The Boxwood Cottage after consistently crossing paths with owner Heidi Brueggeman on Pinterest, and I was so excited when I discovered that The Boxwood Cottage was just down the road! A 3rd generation antique dealer, Brueggeman lives in Newport and searches the East Coast up-and-down for unusual and fun vintage and antique decor. After collecting and curating her finds, she sells them in her little Habersham shop, which is co-owned and kept by her lovely mother, Bobbi Rice.
The following are my favorite finds from The Boxwood Cottage:
All of the pieces are really reasonably priced (it was all I could do not to buy them out!). Keep your eyes on The Boxwood Cottage's Etsy shop, as well!
Enjoy!

Oooh, so many goodness to see! I want those brass horses and giraffes!
Me, too! She had a pair of brass cranes (on the table in the last photo), too! Sigh...

The double happiness was my favorite--she had two on Wednesday! Have fun in Palmetto Bluff!

Isn't it gorgeous?! You may have to come visit!
I love the white chair and the blue and white jar....looks like a great shop!
Me, too! It definitely is! :)
Looks like a great shop. I have 2 of the rattan headboards. I bought them for one of our guest rooms only to find out a few weeks later that a CRIB would be the focal point of that room instead :)
I LOVE the rattan headboards! But a baby is even better! ;) And to have both (or all three?) is the best, haha!
