thirsty thursday: fun and festive glassware

7.25.2013

I am always inspired by my fellow bloggers, like Linda over at Calling It Home. The other day, Linda introduced us to home decorator and stylist, Beth Barden, and her beautiful blog, DesignPost Interiors. Beth's blog documents her home decorating endeavors, such as the bar table featured in Linda's post. Beth included these adorable flamingo tumbler glasses on her beautifully styled bar:

flamingo tumbler
Sommarfint Flamingos
$0.99 from Ikea

The ladies (and the flamingos!) inspired me to go on a hunt for some more fun and festive glassware.

Here's what I found!:
pineapple highball glass
$1.49 from Ikea

cane tumbler
$8 from C. Wonder
polka dot glass
$69 (set of 2) from Outblush
via Avolie Glass on Etsy

bicycle glasses
$19.95 (set of 4) from Paper Source

nautical glasses
$4.25 from Shindigz
bamboo tumbler
$12.95 from Zara Home

cobalt glass
$4.48 from Pier1

cobalt rim tumbler
$4 from Pier1

tiki glasses
$20.42 from Amazon

skull glasses
$19.95 (set of 4) from Paper Source

skull tumbler
$12.95 from Zara Home

tortoise tumbler
$8 from Pier1

chevron highball
$54 for set from C. Wonder
gold rim glass
$32 (set of 4) from West Elm
gold rim tumbler
$15.95 from Zara Home

polka dot tumbler
$120 from Kate Spade

Keep your eye on Etsy, eBay, etc. for finds like the following:

zebra tumblers

greek key highball glasses

greek key tumblers

nautical glasses

astrological highball glasses

gold bamboo highball glasses
Enjoy!

Such great finds, Emilie! I have the Ikea flamingos and pineapples, but now I want all of the others you have found!!! If only I had more cabinet space! ;)

XOXO,

The flamingos were made for you! As for the others, maybe you can make a few last minute changes to the cabinets? ;)

I love the flamingos and the bikes! The sugar skulls are kinda fun in a wacky way too!

I like the vintage gold glasses you found on etsy.

Me too!!! And clearly the people who bought them all did, too :(

The skulls kind of scare me, but I know they are really popular right now and I wouldn't want to deny my readers, ha, ha! ;)

Thanks for the shout out, Emilie. I love so many of these glasses. We would get into trouble if we went shopping together.

I suppose as long as we are not "using" all of the glasses we would be fine...right?! ;)

Hi Emilie
I'm hoping all is well in your world & the shift to a new place has occurred.
I check in regularly to see if you have a new post & just wanted you to know that I'm waiting for this. Shells & Chinoiserie are 2 things I'm keen on.
