With her impeccable taste and talent for mixing traditional and antique pieces with current and comfortable ones, Braff creates timeless interiors that have launched her into a leading role among America's interior designers.
Originally from Mississippi, Braff's Southern charm is reflected in her colorful and happy interiors, but the bold and bright patterns used by Braff also mirror the mentality of their surroundings, from Jamaica to Newport, and the many colorful communities in between...
Meg Braff Interiors, Inc. was founded in 1994 and has since become one of the designer's multiple ventures, which now include Meg Braff Designs--a wallpaper and fabrics collection, and most recently, a line of upholstered furniture. Braff's business is based out of her Locust Valley, NY store, called Meg Braff Antiques and Decoration.

The recreation:
Braff's choice of wallpaper for this room is "Chinese Lattice" by Bob Collins. The bright, bold pattern sets the tone for the space. Because the choice of wallpaper is so important to achieving this look, I am including various choices; some are saves, some are splurges.

Oh, Emilie!! This looks fantastic! I am a HUGE Meg Braff fan, and this room is one of my favorites. You did such a wonderful job of recreating it on a budget! There was a vintage bamboo desk and chair nearly identical to the one you posted from OKL (I believe it was Henry Link) on Craigslist here in South Florida the other week for around $100... I was so tempted! Great post, as always. :)
XOXO,
The Glam Pad
Thank you so much, Andrea! I think I just need to rent a U-Haul and head down to Florida!!! ;)
Great post, Em!
I'm saving this post in my favorites, as there are so many great finds for a blue and white room! Will definitely be doing some shopping soon! Elle
Meg Braff certainly knows how to take the blue and white room to another level! So glad you are here--always fun to meet new friends at a party! ;) Happy shopping!
