I love Halloween, and here at shell & chinoiserie, I have chosen to honor the festive holiday with one of my favorite design features: harlequin floors!
The bold--but classic--black and white pattern will dress-up any space with sophisticated drama...even a laundry room! I wasn't lucky enough to have a laundry room back in Boston, but I did have harlequin floors installed in the kitchen of my condo, and you can bet I plan to have them in my future home, as well.
This simple pattern is stunning in a variety of spaces, including foyers, libraries, terraces, bathrooms and--of course--kitchens. As you will soon see, I can't get enough of it!:
