one room challenge linking event week six: nursery reveal!

I'm still pregnant! Which means I'm still posting!

I am so excited to finally share the room reveal for our baby girl's nursery, which I have been working on over the past six weeks as a guest participant in Calling It Home's One Room Challenge

I cannot wait to put my (very swollen) feet up and pour over all of the other beautiful transformations from both the featured designers and my fellow guest participants...but first imma share mine so I can finally relax! Here we go!

In order to achieve a fun and fresh feel, I planned a more contemporary space than what I typically gravitate toward. I wanted it to be feminine, but with clean lines and lots of color. Below is the design board I created to keep me inspired and on track:

You can catch up on my plans and progress leading up to today's big reveal by following the links below:

And now (*drum roll*), here is week six!:

Now that the nursery is ready, bring on the baby! I promise to post photos of Baby H in her nursery soon!

In the meantime,

  2. The animal prints over the crib are so cute - it's like they are peaking over to check on the sleeping baby. The subtle color with the mixture of neutrals make such a soothing space for Baby H. Congratulations!!

  3. GIRL!!!! You killed it! I love every little detail! And so will your little nugget - when she finally makes her debut! What a sweet little place to bring her home to and start making memories in!!! You'll have LOTS of time in there to appreciate it - even what it looks like in the dark! :) Cheers and here's hoping your swollen tootsies get relief soon!

  5. Emilie, this is soooo lovely. Perfection. The yellow touches add just the right energy too. Also can I make the crib quilt and sheet into a dress or shirt combo? Congratulations and I hope the baby comes soon!

  6. I was reading this while my three year old was looking over my shoulder, she said, "This room is beautiful! Can i live in it some day?" Her thoughts sum up mine! Don't worry, we're not moving in but we're both in love. I love the boho bedding and the fabulous rug and I've always wanted a giant giraffe - so chic! Good luck with the birth and enjoy your beautiful new baby!

  9. Had to do a double take when I saw the wide shot of the closet with the shoes...thought to myself, "those are too small to actually be shoes, right?" Wrong. They are so small and SO cute...just like this whole space!! So glad I found your blog through this challenge, I'm looking forward to more of your posts!
